Baltimore Black Sox Fitted Cap

The Baltimore Black Sox were a professional baseball team based out of Baltimore, Maryland which played in the Negro Leagues. The Black Sox started as an independent team in 1916 by George Rossiter and Charles Spedden. They were one of the original six teams to make up the Eastern Colored League in 1923.
In 1929, The Black Sox boasted the "Million Dollar Infield" of Jud "Boojum" Wilson (first baseman), Frank Warfield (second baseman), Oliver "Ghost" Marcelle (third baseman) and Sir Richard Lundy (shortstop). The nickname was given to them by the media because of the prospective worth had they been white players. The Black Sox won over 70% of their games during the 1929 season and won the American Negro League Championship.
During their only season in the East-West League, the Black Sox won the league championship.
In 1933, Joe Cambria took over ownership of the team and moved it into Gus Greenlee's new Negro National League. During that same year, the team moved it's home games to Bugle Field. The team only lasted one year and disbanded. In 1934, another team enter the league using the Black Sox name, but it didn't meet with much success and disbanded after only one year.

Logo is made from hand cut felt and is sew on by hand.

Phila. Athletics Fitted Cap

After New York Giants' manager John McGraw told reporters that Philadelphia manufacturer Benjamin Shibe, who owned the controlling interest in the new team, had a “white elephant on his hands," Mack defiantly adopted the white elephant as the team mascot, though over the years the elephant has appeared in several different colors (currently forest green). The A’s are sometimes, though infrequently, referred to as the Elephants or White Elephants.

Cap is made with hand cut felt and needle work is also hand done. Very old school look.

Los Angeles White Sox of the WCNBL

The West Coast Negro Baseball League only operated for part of the 1946 season. Its objective was for teams composed of black ballplayers to play games in stadiums used by teams in the Pacific Coast League while their regular occupants were playing on the road. The league comprised six teams located in Seattle, WA, Portland, OR, San Francisco, CA, Oakland, CA, Los Angeles, CA and San Diego, CA. It folded in July of its only year of operation.

This cap represents the Los Angeles White Sox. This is not what they wore on the field. The colors not only represents the African American players but the many cultures and races that make up Los Angeles.

Houston Astro's Cap made with 60's patch

This cap is made with a vintage patch from the 1960's ( not sure what year ) I believe it represents the Astros but could also rep the Colt .45's depending on when it was produced. It is one of my Baseball Slugger Caps. This is a great looking cap if I may say so myself.
