The 1981–82 Dunbar Poets finished the season at 29–0 and finished 1982-83 31–0 and were ranked first in the nation by USA Today.
The team featured other NBA players Muggsy Bogues, Reggie Lewis, and David Wingate.
Team is said to be the greatest High School Basketball team ever!
